Whoopieee!

Celebration

Had my first 90-day follow-up with my oncologist yesterday. I won’t keep you in suspense: The news was EXCELLENT!

Last week’s blood tests showed that my CA-125 (a screening used to determine whether or not there are cancer cells present) is well, well, well below the acceptable level. In fact, where 33 and below is considered good, and my first CA-125 test in March came in at 21.8, the most recent one was…wait for it…5.7.

Five. Freakin’. Point. Seven.!!!!

Ironically, that’s the same great number I got on my most recent A1C screening. Another cause for celebration.

This girl is rockin’ the low numbers.

Better still, last week’s CT scan showed no signs of any problems in the lymph nodes that the oncologist has been monitoring since January surgery, so I don’t need to do another CT until next December.

What does this all mean? I can officially celebrate my first 90 days of remission. Take THAT, cancer you mother-effer!

It’s official: December 2018 kicks December 2017’s ASS!

Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays to all!
