Good news: The platelet count is back up, and I’m cleared for chemo #4 tomorrow (April 5). YAY!!!!

But my red cell count hasn’t budged, despite my best spinach-and-beef-eating efforts, so I have agreed to a blood transfusion, which I will get on Saturday. Hopefully, that will get me back to the acceptable range for my next Nadir labs on April 18, and help with my energy level, which has really taken a hit over the past few weeks.

But I’m not focused on that right now. Today I’m just damn happy that all systems are go and that by tomorrow night I’ll be able to say that I’m two-thirds of the way through the chemo. Whoot!
