Wow, what a difference a year makes.

Last New Year’s Eve was filled with uncertainty and fear. This year I am happy, healthy and looking ahead with great confidence that 2019 will be an outstanding year.

As I turn the calendar to a new year, instead of marking days until surgery and chemo I am filling the pages with travel plans and visits from friends, professional and recreational activities, and opportunities to get involved with my community again.

Thank you to all who have provided encouragement and support over the past year. I appreciate each and every one of you and wish you all the best in 2019.

May your New Year be filled with happiness and hope, and may your challenges be few and short-lived.
